A number of Pendle racers made the trip over to Ireland for the Irish Championships on the Saturday, followed up by the European Championships on the Sunday and a dash to catch the ferry back.
Saturday saw strong performances with everyone finishing in the top 15 Declan Huppach second overall closely followed by Kaigan Witts 5th and his brother Callum Witts 6th in a strong contested field.
Sunday saw an equally impressive day the the Pendle racers who again collected medals in their respective individual age groups and Declan Huppach pick up top spot overall to become European Champion whilst racing in the U16 age group against a strong field of U18’s, U21’s and Sen group racers – well done. He was closely followed by Callum Witts 4th overall and first in his age, and his brother Kaiagn Witts 5th overall and also first in his age group.
Well done also to Josef Huppach just outside the top 10, and second in his U14 age group a fantastic performance in a strong field and also to Adam who skied well.
