July summer work parties – your club needs you

Monday, July 6th, 2015

The clubs annual maintenance program is now in full swing with the club relying upon the help of its volunteers to keep everything in tip top condition.

The bulk of the work this year is to the main slope which will see around 80 mats lifted and replaced with new ones as part of our matting replacement plan.

Before the new matting can be laid work is required to profile any low spots on the slope making any repairs to the underlay to provide a smooth surface the matting to be fitted to.

In addition to the main work any other worn matting on the rest of the slope and tow area will need to to be replaced with plenty of painting, grass strimming and cutting also needed to prepare the club ready for the next season.

Work parties will take place most weekends in July please look out for the member services emails that provide details,
